Jobs and career choices

This module builds your Panjabi for jobs and careers: the people at work, meetings and discussions, and the actions of a working life. Each example is a Panjabi word with its English meaning. A full sentence looks like this: ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ (mainu mera kamm pasand hai), meaning I like my work.

Find the two leaving-a-job words

Reading a sentence

Now read a full Panjabi sentence: ਮੈਂ ਵਪਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ (main vapaar vich kamm karda haan) = "I work in business". It starts with ਮੈਂ (main, "I"), and ਕੰਮ (kamm) means work.
