What you'll cover

Talking about jobs

Everyone has ideas about the job they might do one day. To talk about jobs and ambitions in Polish you need the words for common jobs, for pay and dreams, and a way to say what you want to become. This module builds your Polish vocabulary for work and career choices.

Words for work

Start with four useful words. Each Polish word is shown with its English meaning.

Saying what you want to be

You can say what you want to become with a full sentence, not just single words.

Say why with ponieważ

To reach a higher level, add a reason. You can say Chcę zostać inżynierem, ponieważ lubię matematykę, which means I want to become an engineer because I like maths. Using chcę zostać with a job and giving a reason lets you build a full sentence.
