Life at school

This module builds your Bengali for school life: kinds of school, uniform, and the school day. Each Bengali example is shown with a simple way to say it in brackets, then its English meaning: স্কুল (skul) means school. A full sentence looks like this: আমি স্কুল ভালবাসি (ami skul bhalobashi), meaning I love school.

Kinds of school

Start with four kinds of school. Bengali uses স্কুল (skul) or বিদ্যালয় (bidyaloy) for a school.
