Die Regel 💡
In a main clause, a separable verb **splits**: the prefix jumps to the **end** of the clause, while the stem stays in **second position**. So **aufstehen** becomes: Ich **stehe** um 7 Uhr **auf**. And **fernsehen** becomes: Ich **sehe** abends **fern**.
