Panjabi closes the sentence with the verb
Words become sentences once you add a pattern. Panjabi puts the verb at the end, and it agrees with you, so the ending changes for a male or a female speaker: - ਮੈਂ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹਾਂ = "I study Maths" (said by a male speaker). A female speaker says ਮੈਂ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਹਾਂ. - ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ = "I like Science". Here ਮੈਂ takes the postposition ਨੂੰ and becomes ਮੈਨੂੰ, literally "to me science is pleasing" - so this pattern does not change with the speaker.
