The four articles 📝

Italian has four ways to say "the" in the singular, and which one you use depends on the noun. **il** for most masculine nouns (il libro); **lo** for masculine nouns starting with s+consonant, z, gn or ps (lo sport, lo studente); **la** for feminine nouns (la musica); and **l'** before any noun starting with a vowel (l'esame). Get the article right and your Italian sounds natural.
