Travel and tourism in Urdu
This module builds your Urdu vocabulary for travel and tourism: the journey, and the seaside. Remember that Urdu is written in the Arabic script and read from right to left. A full sentence looks like this: مجھے سفر پسند ہے, meaning I like travelling. Meet each word paired with its English meaning, then practise until you know them.

Down at the seaside
Travel takes you to new places. The ساحل سمندر is where the land meets the water, and the سمندر stretches out far beyond it. You carry your things in سفری سامان, packed inside a صندوقچہ.
