Talking about yourself in Portuguese
Portuguese uses the Latin alphabet, so you can already read most of it. Two things are new: every noun has a gender, and some vowels take an accent you must write. Nouns are either masculine (the word for "the" is o) or feminine (the word for "the" is a). You learn each word with its article.
