AQA GCSE Engineering past papers

Before you start. Work it with the formula sheet you will actually get in the exam, and nothing else. Finding out which formulas you have to remember is half the point of the exercise.

While you work. Write every line of working, even the ones you could do in your head. Method marks are awarded for the working, and a bare answer that is wrong scores nothing.

Marking it afterwards. Mark schemes here award marks per step, so tick your own working line by line rather than judging the final answer. Most lost marks turn out to be a missing unit or an unrounded value.

Warm up first. Aerodynamics: Lift, Drag and Thrust is the shortest activity here, so it is the quickest way back into Engineering before you open a paper.
